If you are visiting Incahoot for the first time or if you are an existing member and you want to find out more, we have prepared answers to frequently asked questions which we hope will help.

1. Aren’t you just another price comparison site, there are loads of them already?

Incahoot offers consumers the exact opposite of a price comparison site.

Price comparison sites are rewarded when consumers switch supplier, a model which 30% of consumers surveyed by Which? Magazine in November 2009 said didn’t give them the best value.

Price comparison sites only display deals you can already get yourself whereas Incahoot uses the collective buying power of our members to negotiate deals that are better than you can get ‘off the shelf’.

Meanwhile Incahoot takes a long-term view and negotiates exclusive deals with suppliers based on our collective buying power. This means deals will get more competitive as we recruit more members and we’ll let consumers know about deals which may be better for them when it is time to renew.

 

2. Do you take a ‘cut’ or get paid commission from a supplier if I sign up to a service or product?
Absolutely not. We are a free service and do not take money from our members. Instead we receive a small finders fee from our service partners.
3. How many people do you need to ‘make a difference’?
Every member makes a difference. But the concept is simple, the more members we have, the more our collective buying power and our ability to offer exclusive deals for individuals which normally only big businesses would have been able to get.
4. What exactly do I need to do to sign up and start saving money?
Joining is free and easy and our savings calculator shows how our members can start saving money straight away.
5. Do I need to pay to sign up?
No, membership is free.
7. Are you planning to offer deals in other sectors?
Watch this space for more deals. All future deals are driven by members and we will only introduce those offering the best value for our members.
8. Do I get an incentive for getting my friends to join?
Of course when your friends and family sign up for deals! Cash incentives of between £5 and £20 will be given to Incahoot members who sign up their friends and family. Go to 'my incahoot' for more information.
9. What will you use my details for?
Incahoot will never use members’ details without receiving prior permission. We are data protection compliant so please see our privacy policy for more information.
10. If I see a better deal elsewhere does Incahoot have a price match policy?
We dont price match but we always seek to deliver the best value deals for our members over the life of the deal.
11. If you’re only interested in helping groups how do you look after individuals too?

Every member makes a difference and we negotiate deals that you can’t buy ‘off the shelf’. Which benefits everyone individually!

12. Who do I talk to if I have a problem with my supplier?
If you have a problem with your supplier please go through the normal customer service channels . If you encounter any issues then we would be more than happy to help so please contact us.
13. How can I withdraw my cashback?

We dont hold on to the cashback you are owed. Provided you have entered your account details in My Incahoot then we will process the payment into your account automatically

14. Why do I need to provide you with my bank account details and how will they be kept safe?

We need your bank account details in order to process payments efficiently as and when you sign up for deals with Incahoot.
